TUK TUK CONTROLS
THE
TUK TUK OPERATES VERY MUCH LIKE A MOTORCYCLE,
OTHER
FEATURES OF THE TUK TUK ARE ADDED ABOVE MOTORCYCLE STANDARDS.
EXAMPLES
ARE OPERATIONS OF BRAKING, CLUTCH OPERATIONS AND SHIFTING.
While
stick shifts intimidate some, there is no need to have the jerky
take off fears. I rather doubt your first take of will result in
stalling the engine. Testing of the Tuk Tuk has been done in
several areas of the US having first time operators from the age
of 8 to 81 both male and female. In thousands of first time users
there have been NO failed take offs only successful smiles upon
the return of the drive.
We
have added several photos to help you familiarize yourself with
operations.
Please
ask us any questions you may have.

Most
of these features look normal to you already, As you can see the
Tuk Tuk is not as foreign anymore. American Safety Requirements
provide consumer confidence while making manufacturers comply to
Federal Regulation. TTNA not only meets these requirement with the
American Version Tuk Tuk , but exceeds many of the required
regulations.
The
Tuk Tuk meets EPA Emissions laws till year end 2009, no other
vehicle in the motorcycle class does this. TTNA has the strong
desire to provide America with a clean Eco-Friendly and safe
vehicle.
Meeting
or exceeding Federal Regulations.
With
50 years of motor vehicle experience backing the Tuk Tuk to
provide safe engineering, most see a Tuk Tuk read blogs about
their experiences visiting Thailand, making statements of speeds,
and how unsafe they are. While NOT making or thinking of several
issues.
Thailand
does not have regulations like USA. The Tuk Tuks that are taxis in
Bangkok are OLD worn out units. NOT new. Under the new regulations
just passed in Thailand now the 2 stroke engines must be removed.
While this is a step forward for cleaner air, the new legislation
did not require improvements to the old models.
Even yet to this
day there have been NO accidents involving a Tuk Tuk reported in
Thailand since the 60's. Bangkok has over 3 million Tuk Tuks in
operation yet NO accidents. So even though we may make comment
about them, the track record of operation proves safety.
We
can rest assured that the Tuk Tuk for North America is better by
far than the old worn out Tuk Tuks in Bangkok. But no matter how
safe anything is and how many regulations there are, People no
matter where they are will find fault or even have an
accident.
Accidents
don't just happen, they are the result of not participating in the
safe operations of any machine or equipment. Laws cannot make you
participate in the safe operations of anything, but can offer the consumer
some piece of mind that some agency does look into making things
safer.
TTNA
will react just like Volvo known as the worlds safest car, TTNA
will always seek safety first, while still understanding safe
operations of anything is up to the operator.
TTNA
looks forward to providing a safe enjoyable Tuk Tuk to America,
and over 36 other countries.
Please
ride safe -- be safe -- & responsible
